What is Uplighting?

Uplights are lighting fixtures that are used to project light onto your venue walls, columns and other areas to create a color wash in your venue. 

Uplighting can dramatically change the mood of your entire event. Room Uplighting is the most cost affective way to truly customize your special day. You can create and select from virtually unlimited colors to match your event. Not all Uplighting is Created Equal

Many companies in the special events industry now offer uplighting rentals in addition to the other services they provide. Traditional par can uplights are bulky, have limited color options, require electrical cords, are not energy efficient and can get very warm causing potential hazards should a guest come into contact with them. 

While many may even offer wireless uplights, keep in mind not all uplighting is created equal. Some lighting fixtures are limited in the color options, unable to offer some of the most popular and commonly requested lighting shades such as blush, champagne and warm amber. Along with limited color options, you may encounter other lighting fixtures that have fewer bulbs per light. This means you are going to get uplighting that is not nearly as bright and has a much more column appearance as opposed to a full color wash lighting affect.
